Just stopping in for a sec to let you know I put up new photos in my Tokyo album. Will be adding more shortly, but Uber is only letting me upload one at a time. Here are a couple if you haven't gotten to check em' yet- please do.
This is like my billionth attempt at posting, having some e-issues.
There's a number of good things happening in Analogue world. First up, I've posted the 5th Volume of the Madd BabyBlog, viewable here:
Analog In Tokyo | Madd Baby Blog Vol. 5
A lot of good visual things in this edition, as well as dope street footage. I'm going to try to integrate that more into the blogs, starting this weekend actually. I'm gearing up for what could turn out to be a long weekend. Tonight, Flying Lotus/Cinematic Orchestra show in Shibuya and tomorrow night SAMIYAM | www.myspace.com/samiyambeats show at some spot called heavy sick ZERO. Leave it to Tokyo for the club names that make you wonder if you should even go to the spot in fear of your life. I'm excited to get to chill w. Coma-Chi| www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcs6jnnbQxM, who I'm going to the show with, one of the dopest people I've met since I've been here.
I just finished editing a pilot episode of the 24 Our Broadcast which I'll stream tonight on Ustream.tv. This test run features an impromptu interview with Visual composer/Artist, Jamer$on| www.myspace.com/98Jamerson who I introduced in an earlier entry. Not to mention, some of the dopest sounds on this planet...and off this planet for some.
In other news, apparently, Wu-Tang will survive. I just read a story that reported that the Wu-Tang documentary will be aired for about a week on BET.
I'm not sure where this random Wu push has come from, but I see it as a good thing. Kick the truth to the young black youth...and show them where their styles originated from. Certaintly, there sould be no $. Analogue without the Wu. In 2008, when you think of the unit that was the Wu, you have to give nothing but respect...it seems like we'll never experience another hip-hop group of that magnitude in our lifetimes.
Well, it's Friday here and I'm in a Japanese office. Apparently, on Fridays everyone gives each other little treats because I am drowning in red bean-filled cakes right now. J-Cakey.
and in between I was like..."are the e-gods playing some cruel joke on me?"
and then i logged into uber and saw the most beautiful message that it can be saved!
I know, it's probably a little silly of me to be emotional over a site,
but this has been such a great outlet to connect people to the things i'm doing
and SO easy for someone like me to use on the go.
So here I go.
The Suzi Analogue Save Uber 08 campaign begins. Look out for cool vids, pictures and posts each day until Uber becomes indefinite. Oh boy, we're in for a ride.
Hello new world. It makes me sad to even type this. We had so much more to talk about! But, alas, here is my new space, and I hope you will continue to check me out:
My domain name is still processing, but will be www.suzi.am
I'm also:

Until we meet again, please come check me out at the new space. Much love. Thank you for allowing me to share my stories, pix and vids with you. Keep it Analogue.
Like the above blog said, I am not sure how much longer Uber will work, but of all my time blogging...I've really enjoyed posting on this platform the best. What drew me to Uber was the innovation to grab media and connect with people. I wish another investor would step in and see how profitable this project could be, but I'm not sure if it is too late since there are people who have already been laid off.
I, am not sure what I'll be doing exactly. I know I do want to continue She's Gotta Have It, and I will most certaintly be continuing the Mad Baby Blogs, the newest being Mad Baby Blog 4:
Analog In Tokyo | Mad Baby Blog 4
I suppose there in no time like the present to really think about my future. What exactly did this stock crash me to me? I guess I'm only beginning to find out.
Hopefully before it ends, I will have figured out a new address to update you with. In the meantime I am accessible a million different ways online:
www.myspace.com/effuimpretty
facebook: Suzi Analogue
email: suzianalog@gmail.com
skype: suzianalog
Hope this isn't the end, but regardless Stay Tuned.
We're cool and all, but why did it take 3 weeks for you to fix my blog page? That had me totally distraught. Not to mention confused all the good folks who check out SGHI. I'm saying, we're cool and all but... Can I get an e-refund for emotional damage?
Hello New World, She's Gotta Have It is back in business after technical difficulties that were out of my control. The regularly scheduled program is as follows:
Tue$days with Suz. A - Blog Update each Tuesday
Mad Baby Blog Thursday$ - Video Blog on Tokyo each Thursday.
Like I never left. Sorry for any of the confusion and heartbreak I have caused you in this digital hiatus. Give me a sec to get some of this content straight, and by next week we will be fully functional. Much love.
In cased you missed them, here are the past 2 Mad Baby Blogs:
Walking down the streets in Tokyo can be crazy inspirational. It's almost as if, because I'm bombarded by things that I don't know so well...I can see more clearly into things I do know. Case in point, since it's seldom I hear English spoken, every track on my iPod sounds that much sweeter. Imagine rolling through Shinjuku listening to Georgia Anne or EssVee? I am really listening.
My new favorite album to walk to is Elzhi's The Preface. While the record came out a little less than a month ago, I listened to it as if it were the first time yesterday. It is an instant classic in Analogue book. Elzhi has always had a ridiculous flow, but on these tracks his skill is just relentless. The Preface gives hip-hop heads, and those former who have since broken up with hip-hop due to it's unsteady decline, three concrete things:
I do understand, as the author of this blog, that it is imperative that I take you on a journey with me. To really enjoy a journey, you have to understand the characters and themes that are a part of it, so I thought I would take some time out to introduce to you some folks and things that have been playing a role in the never-ending saga of Analogue.
Firstly, I want to introduce the UNIVERSAL PREMIERE of my video for Hot In Hear. The Backstory: It was the hottest week evAr in Philly. My a/c was broken and it was Johnny Blaze in the $uzi$ound$pace. I still wanted to work though, and was testing out a new pre-amp I had on borrow. I threw on a track Dev had just sent me and hit record...and presto....
